On Monday September 23rd Stage 3 performed their artworks that they worked on for 8 Weeks. There was two drama performances, a music performance and two art demonstrations. Mr McMahon taught an art class, Miss Martens taught the other art class. Mrs Dwyer taught one of the drama classes and Miss Browne taught the other drama class. Miss Dixon taught the music class.
Miss Dixon who taught the music class was the first one to perform. They used ukulele and performed a great song called String Along rag. It was a great performance with the time they had to practise. The audience really enjoyed tapping along with the song.
Mr McMahon taught the first art class. They drew a background and then covered it in small dots of a variety of colours. Their artworks where inspired by Pauline Coxon. There plenty of budding artists.
Miss Martens taught the second art class. They were inspired by Andy Warhol. The class did pictures of popular objects / brands in different colours. They also renamed soups.
Miss Browne taught the first drama class. They did a freeze frame of Jack and the Bean Stalk. The audience loved the freeze frames and how well they told the story.
Mrs Dwyer taught the last drama class. They studied improvisation and prepared short comedy skits. The audience loved this performance and found it was funny.
Stage 3 enjoyed watching each other’s performances along with kindergarten this term.
