Kindystart Program 2019
The Jindabyne Central School Kindystart program provides teachers with the perfect platform to introduce new families and community to our school, where valuable connections and long term partnerships can be established.
Through the support and nurturing of these partnerships, a solid educational foundation can be created, fostering a passion for learning in students. Your child will have the opportunity to meet other children, who will be starting Kindergarten in 2020, some with whom they will form life-long friendships with.
Together with teachers and year 5 'Buddies,' your child will experience a taste of school life.
Across the five Kindystart sessions, our aim is to:
- Provide new families and students with a positive, memorable introduction to school life at Jindabyne Central School
- Provide our teaching staff with the opportunity to observe and assess your child, enabling well-balanced classes be arranged, that provide maximum learning opportunities for students

Parent Information Night will be held Wednesday 6 November 2019 @ 5pm
Our Information Session welcomes parents and caregivers to Jindabyne Central School and explains what to expect in the first year of Kindergarten. Our intention is to not only provide a valuable orientation of the school, but families will leave informed and confident,nmaking those first weeks not only bearable but enjoyable.
A short tour of the school will conclude the session to familiarise families with the school.
