We congratulate all our award recipients and their commitment to our school values of leadership and citizenship, striving to embody our positive behaviours for learning; respect, responsibilty and personal best.
Our student leaders did a wonderful job of hosting the cermonies which included performances from our Kindergarten to Year 2 students singing Christmas Carols, our Primary Recorder and Violin group shared their Opera House Performance, Secondary School Spec students performed their dance routine and Year 11 students Blaze Sherlock and Alex Barton performed the ‘Jigsaw Puzzle Blues’ on the electric guitar. Another highlight was a beautiful video message from Kindergarten to their Year 6 buddies, offering well wishes and some wise words for their transition to high school.
JCS would also like to thank the community for their ongoing support in helping us to recognise the achievements of our students by sponsoring and presenting awards including but not limited to, the Burdett family, the Monaro Teachers’ Association, Snowy Hydro, the Farmer family, the Kemp family, Snowy Monaro Regional Council and Jindabyne Community Chest.
